Climate-Oriented Real Estate
Future-proof, healthy,
affordable buildings.
For everyone.
Why should a building be a compromise between costs, quality, speed and sustainability?
CORE is a developer of a new kind that builds housing for people and the planet.

We are in both a housing crisis, and a climate and energy crisis, both issues need immediate solutions.

CORE's mission is to shelter humans from the elements and reunite them with nature.

Because at CORE, we care.

CORE principles
Housing crisis, affordability crisis, climate crisis, energy crisis: every industry needs to take action. Yesterday. CORE takes on the challenges for housing and real estate with three main principles:

Future-Proof Buildings
Future-proof means to us that our building is designed and built with a changing world in mind.
Future-proof means safe and resilient. Now and ever.
We consider buildings we deliver as shelters first and foremost. They must provide shelter from the elements for occupants now, but also in the future.

Climate change will put stress on buildings, from the foundation to the roof, from the electrical grid and its reliability to the climate comfort, making even survivability challenging.

Our buildings are designed for minimum maintenance need, and little energy consumption. This guarantees affordability in the long run.

Our buildings can be fully dismantled. If the land can no longer be used anymore, we relocate the whole building easily to a new location. We also pay close attention to what we use to build, ensuring we do not generate hazardous or landfill material down the road.

Healthy Buildings
We spend around 90% of our lifes inside buildings. They'd better be healthy for us!
We want to keep pollutants inside our buildings as low as possible. Think about VOCs from formaldehyde (in glues), phenol (vinyl flooring), etc. CORE buildings do not user these products.

It is also about the ability of the building to regulate humidity and temperature by itself, two of the key factors making a climate comfortable and livable.

Since we build with healthy materials, dismantling them is easy down the road. Pure materials, used in a pure way, enable a healthy living and a healthy planet, with sustainable financials through low maintenance and low utility costs.
Affordable Buildings
Affordability is two-fold: construction costs, and operational costs.
By simplifying the construction process, we are able to reduce the costs of construction. We eliminate manual labor from the process, and ensure rework is not needed. We schedule each step precisely and enable continuous progress.
Faster construction also means smaller financing and bearing costs for the owner and developer, as well as a faster commissioning.

Costs of housing is more than just construction costs. We have calculated, that roughly two third of the purchasing price of a property will be expensed in maintenance, utilities, insurances, etc.

We carefully choose how to build, to reduce these ever-increasing costs.

Climate-Oriented Real Estate
What we mean:
Climate destruction - often referred to as climate change - is a well known and well understood concept that CORE considers a representative for all biosphere destruction processes. Climate-Oriented Real Estate does not solely addresses the causes and consequences of climate change with its buildings, but aims at protecting and supporting the entirety of the biosphere.

With each new construction, we aim for the best possible result from an environmental perspective in the current industry context. We are bounded and limited by the supply capability of an industry and can therefore not instantly change it all. We do aim at pushing the limits each time, and to prove to our industry that a lot more can be done immediately.

We advocate for the protection of the biosphere by setting the example, in the hope to inspire others and encourage legislators to increase their demand towards the industry by seeing what is already possible.
